Description
A small (unfortunately a bit too small) digital painting of Yotsuba, the title character of the manga series "Yotsuba&!" by Kiyohiko Azuma.
I enjoy reading "Yotsuba&!" and find that Yotsuba herself is fun to draw.
However, I didn't design this costume, pose or whatever. It's based on an original drawing by Azuma included here: s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/2…
I just liked the colourful Japanese dress very much with its layers and details.
I practiced by pretty much doing anything with the tablet and adding shadow and light (darker, brighter colours).
Beneath Yotsuba is her name in Japanese kana letters.
Done with a tablet and Adobe Photoshop.
