Shirt Design - Monty Python 'SciFi Sketch'

This is my design for a T-shirt (pictured here on the right) and a long sleeve shirt (not pictured here) that is a reference to the "Science Fiction Sketch" by Monty Python (out of their show "Monty Python's Flying Circus", season 1, episode 7 "You're no Fun anymore").

I think it's one of their semi-famous sketches: not as famous as "Lumberjack Song" or "Dead Parrot" but I guess it's not as unfamiliar to people in common as a lot of sketches from the last season for example.

Still, I wanna explain: In this sketch mysterious, cruel aliens in UFOs appear above England and send down rays to turn English people into...Scots! These Scots then overpopulate Scotland and England gets emptier while the aliens get closer to world domination (somehow) and that has to be stopped!
How? I won't tell. Please take the time and watch it yourself However I won't put a YouTube link here since everything I can find of this sketch is in poor quality.

I love this sketch and the silliness of all in it.
But why did I create this motif? After all, I love a bunch of their sketches.
Well, by the end of August I'll start my summer vacation by visiting Edinburgh, Scotland. And that idea of a shirt with this sketch reference kept stuck in my head. So I had to try it.
Call it paying tribute to Monty Python and, err, Scotland? I really hope the Scots won't be pissed off or something I'm sure I'll have a great time there. I'm very excited!

The design was mostly made by me. I only took screenshots of the sketch which helped me creating the people. The kilt tartans as well as the Scotland/England patterns were purchased at Adobe Stock.
