Adella's and King Triton's Daddy Daughter Moment

Quickly done & uploaded before "Mermay" is over

Yes, I am aware that I've done a lot of Disney/mermaid stuff in the last few weeks. Maybe too much. But hey, it's still "Mermay" and I had this idea in mind that I wanted to try out as long as I'm in the mood. In the next time there'll be more original, badass stuff. At least I planned that

So, you know the Disney movie "The Little Mermaid" and that protagonist Ariel has six sisters. One of them is Adella, the dark-haired one with the yellow-ocher-ish fishtail.
When I was looking for reference pictures for my "Mermay" contest entries (a contest by the group ) I stumbled upon screenshots of the TV cartoon and remembered that Adella was portrayed as an overweight mermaid. You remember? And that was the only time she was shown like that, in any other story or medium she's skinny as the rest.
Somehow I felt like creating some artwork on this Adella but also wanted to include King Triton, her father to create a more heartwarming scene and atmosphere. Just imagine them briefly seeing each other before going to a ball, celebration or something like that.
